Installation
Do I need to drill into my vehicle?
No. You will, however, need to drill into the upper console insert in order to bolt the mount in place.
How long does installation take?
Assuming your switch panel wiring has been run to the upper console already, the install of The Switch Mount itself should take less than 15 minutes. See our Install Guides for more details.
What tools are required for installation?
A drill, screwdriver, 4 bolts (included), and template (included).
Mounting hardware and a drilling template are included with your mount for easy installation.
Are install guides included?
We include a QR code and website to access the online install instructions. You can also visit our install guide page.
Will it interfere with airbags, sensors, or factory wiring?
No.

Is material UV and extreme temperature resistant?
Designed for vehicles that live in the sun, the heat, and the real world.
This switch mount is manufactured from an automotive-grade, fiber-reinforced polymer chosen specifically for interior applications exposed to extreme temperatures (up to 100°C and below -30°C) and constant UV exposure. Unlike common plastics that soften, fade, or warp over time, this material maintains its shape and strength even in hot summer conditions, making it ideal for overhead console installations.
Is this mount suitable for off-road and overland use?
Yes! Not only are The Switch Mount products suitable for rough roads, they are DESIGNED for them!

Will you release versions for other vehicles?
Absolutely! We plan to manufacture Switch Mounts for multiple other vehicles including Ford Transits, Ford F-150s, and more! If you need a custom switch mount for your rig, feel free to contact us and we'll see what we can do.
Will you release versions for other switches?
Yes—we plan to continue expanding our Switch Mount offerings and already have additional models in the works! Feel free to contact us if you have a Switch Mount you think we should offer.

Shipping & Orders
Where do you ship from?
All of our Switch Mounts are designed and fabricated in Canada! We ship from Kamloops, BC, Canada.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! If you do not see your country listed during checkout, please reach out to us at orders@theswitchmount.com
Will I be charged duties and tariffs on my order?
All international orders (outside of Canada and USA) will be shipped DDU. Therefore, you may be charged duties and fees based on your region's shipping policies.
What is the typical lead time?
Due to high demand, lead time is typically 5 business days. If your order is urgent, be sure to select express shipping and we'll get it to you ASAP!
